Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve was officially opened in 1993. Since then, it has enjoyed an international reputation among bird watchers and conservationists, prompting the Ministry of National Development to change its status from a Nature Park to a Nature Reserve. Within the last decade, Sungei Buloh was inducted into the East Asian Australasian Shorebird Site Network and became Singapore's first ASEAN heritage park. Today, thousands of local and international visitors enjoy the parks environs for educational and recreational purposes.

Commonwealth War Graves Commission www.cwgc.org ______________________________________________________________________ Kranji War Cemetery is 22 kilometres north of the city of Singapore, on the north side of Singapore Island overlooking the Straits of Johore.
It is located just to the West of the Singapore-Johore road (Bukit Timah Expressway) on Woodlands Road, just to the south of the crossroads with Turf Club Avenue and Kranji Road. There is a short approach road from the main road.
The Cemetery is known locally as Kranji Memorial and one must be sure of the address before boarding a taxi as most taxi drivers do not know the Cemetery.
There are also bus stops on the main road facing the Cemetery. The Kranji MRT (train) terminal is a short distance from the Cemetery, approximately 10 to 15 minutes away by foot. A previous visitor has advised us that a small map of the route can be obtained from the MRT ticket office.
Whitewords Pte Ltd www.whitewords.com.sg ______________________________________________________________________ Whitewords is a multi-disciplinary creative agency that does more then just the plain o’l designing and creating, we will go through nooks and ends to create the ultimate brand experience. Be it print, experiences or campaign works, we follow where the ideas lead.
We’re pretty level-headed when it comes to ideas, and we back them up with extensive research to formulate good, sustainable business and design decisions. We take everything we find and flesh it out to look for design opportunities.
Our process starts with a kick off meeting to gather more insights for the creation of an indepth design brief, followed by the design research and conceptualisation of the big idea, thereafter we’ll converse more and bring in necessary design products or services required to make it all happen, and make it happen!
The Halia www.thehalia.com ______________________________________________________________________ Established in 2001, The Halia Group started with the award-winning The Halia at Singapore Botanic Gardens. In 2008, it expanded with the opening of Villa Halia, a beautiful events space located just across The Halia at Singapore Botanic Gardens, as well as its first out of Singapore venture, The Halia in Hanoi, Vietnam. In October 2012, the group welcomed the addition of the urban-casual The Halia at Raffles Hotel.
Known for its quality cuisine, well-trained staff, excellent service and ambient settings, The Halia Group recently launched an on-going commitment to encourage food transparency from farm to fork. “Project Food Prints”, a series of dinners introduced by the group in 2011, encourages consumers to make "informed" dining choices, by asking questions about how food ingredients are farmed and produced, harvested and brought to the table. Project Food Prints also celebrates fresh, local produce, and The Halia Group works closely with the Kranji Farm Association to incorporate ingredients from Singapore's own backyard into its regular menus.
